Our wonderful Italian brands produce some of the finest knitwear in the world using traditional techniques honed over centuries. And what could be better than slipping into the lightest merino wool sweater or wrapping up in a luxurious cashmere cardigan and heading out for evenings at Frieze or long weekend walks along the Thames towpath.  

One of our favourite pieces in this year's collection is Fabiana Filippi's super chic, Chanel-style cardigan jacket in cashmere and mohair. It will take you seamlessly from your day at the office to the latest late-night exhibition.

We have been utterly spoiled this autumn with the beautiful, mild weather which has meant lots of long walks. The Thames path to Barnes is particularly pretty at the moment, and Peserico's cashmere leisurewear is super comfortable walking wear.

We have stocked Katia Serafini's beautiful cashmere for years, for a reason. Katia studied fine art before branching out into knitwear and, as a result, her pieces always come in the most beautiful colours and demonstrate the finest detailing.

One of our absolutely top brands is Lorena Antoniazzi, which excels in fashion-forward knits and cool, casual trousers like these super luxe cashmere pants and delicious cashmere sweater with a mink-lined cable knit. 

A newer collection for us is the Veneto brand Peserico, who have outdone themselves this season with a wonderful collection of sweaters, coats and gilets in natural, neutral tones. This sinfully soft rabbit fur gilet is simply irresistible. 

And, just in case you thought that knitwear can't cut the mustard for an elegant evening out, think again! Fabiana Filippi has conjured the most versatile little bolero trimmed with ostrich feathers for a fabulous feminine effect.

Sometimes the hardest thing to find is an effortless, but elegant, black sweater that you can simply slip-on and instantly look a million dollars. Well we think that Fabiana has nailed it again with this slimline V-Neck with its understated crystal trim.
